PREGUNTA DE Dña. JENNIFER HARTREE EN REPRESENTACIÓN DEL GRUPO MUNICIPAL C.L.A.R.O AL PLENO MUNICIPAL DE ORIHUELA
“En nombre de las Comunidades de Propietarios del entorno del Pau,26 y Los Almendros, quiero significar nuestra total preocupación, sobre la situación de paralización en que se encuentra el proyecto de la nueva Campa de trabajo del servicio de RSU en el litoral.
De todos son conocidos los enormes problemas de insalubridad, malos olores, basuras, molestos ruidos, aceite y lixiviados de los camiones en las calles, vías en mal estado etc. , acrecentados en verano, que padecemos desde hace más de 10 años, los centenares de residentes en el ámbito de la INDECENTE instalación que alberga a más de una veintena de vehículos pesados del Servicio de RSU.
Tenemos también grandes problemas de tráfico, al ser una vía de paso hacia las urb. del sur de La Costa, un peligro constante por la ubicación de la entrada y salida a la campa de los camiones, en la misma esquina del cruce que da a 3 calles.
Todo ello se le comentó al concejal de Seguridad ciudadana, Antonio Sánchez, en una visita que hizo a la zona, hace 1 año, donde se le pidieron una batería de mejoras para la seguridad vial y entre ellas una pequeña rotonda, indispensable para solucionar esas situaciones peligrosas. Después de 1 año, nada se ha vuelto a saber de la rotonda, los camiones siguen aparcando en las calles, con fugas de aceites y lixiviados, causando molestias a los vecinos, y suponiendo un peligro para la circulación.
Por todo ello, para los residentes del Pau 26 la construcción de esa infraestructura es “una prioridad”, por lo que instamos al Ayuntamiento, a concluir el procedimiento de manera urgente, para que se inicien las obras en el menor tiempo posible. Según parece, el proyecto pasó a fase de licitación en el mes de abril, antes del cambio de gobierno, y se estimaba un tiempo de 9 meses de finalización de las obras una vez iniciadas estas, con lo que los vecinos tendremos que seguir soportando las molestias como mínimo otro año más.”
PREGUNTA : ¿En qué situación actual se encuentra el proyecto del Centro de Trabajo de RSU de la Costa, cuando prevé la Concejalía el inicio de las obras, y la finalización de las mismas y para cuando está contemplada la construcción de la rotonda referida anteriormente?

“On behalf of the Communities of Owners of the area around Pau, 26 and Los Almendros, I would like to express our total concern about the paralysed state in which the project for the new working area of the RSU service on the coast finds itself at present.
We are all aware of the enormous problems of unsanitary conditions, bad smells, rubbish, annoying noise, oil and leachate from the lorries in the streets, roads in urgent need of repair, etc., etc., which have only increased in the last few years. For more than 10 years, we, the hundreds of residents living in the area of the INDECENT installation which houses more than twenty heavy vehicles of the RSU Service, have been suffering from these problems, which drastically increases in summer.
We also have major traffic problems, as it is a through road to the southern urbanisation areas of La Costa, which is a constant danger due to the location of the entrance and exit to the lorry depot, situated on the corner of the crossroads which leads to 3 streets.
All this was mentioned to the Councillor for Public Safety, Antonio Sanchez, on the visit he made to the area a year ago, where he was asked for a series of improvements including road safety, a small roundabout, which is essential to resolve these dangerous situations. After a year, nothing has been heard about the roundabout, the lorries continue to park in the streets, leaking oil and leachates, causing inconvenience to the neighbours, and posing a danger to traffic.
For all these reasons, for the residents of Pau 26, the construction of this infrastructure is “a priority”, and we urge the Town Hall to conclude the procedure urgently, so that work can begin as soon as possible. It seems that the project was put out to tender in April, before the change of government, and it is estimated that the works will take 9 months to be completed once they have started, meaning that the residents will have to continue to endure the inconvenience for at least another year.”
